Hi Tom,
(1) You’re wrong. The line numbers layer (in the Layers panel) is locked. My guess is that you’re searching for the “ScriptLineNumbers” paragraph style, but are not searching in locked layers, so you’re not finding anything. However, if you unlock the ScriptLineNumbers layer in the Layers panel and click inside one of the number frames, you will see that the ScriptLineNumbers para style has been applied to all of them. Incidentally, if you specifically need a character style applied, you can do that within the paragraph style settings (use a nested style).
(2) I just noticed what page this comment is posted on (I respond to comments directly in the Admin section so I don’t see the page). Please check out the main product page, here: https://www.id-extras.com/products/line-numbers/
Too bad you’re not interested in improving your own program.
That’s a ridiculous comment, and a little bit rude. Line Numbers is currently on version 4.1.1. There have been exactly 40 updates since version 3.2.0, and dozens before that.
If you have a reasonable feature request, I’m open to hearing it. However, what you’re asking for is already built into the script.
Thanks,
Ariel
