MasterMatic: Line 45 Error

What does the following error message mean:

When I try to match the object style with the master page to apply to a page an error message pops up saying: Reference error (unintelligible text) is undefined line 45. The script will now quit.

Thanks for posting your question here.
My guess is that there is an object style you’re referencing that doesn’t exist in the current document. But I’m not sure about that.
So, just to clarify: Does this error only happen with object styles, or also paragraph styles? Does it happen in all documents or only this one? Does it happen all the time, or only occasionally? Have you tried restarting InDesign?
If it happens repeatedly with a specific document, I’ll be happy to take a closer look if you send me the document.

Yes. Only happens with object styles. Not specific to particular document. Yes. happens in all documents and all of the time. Restarted numerous times.

The attachment is not complete, still being edited.

Hi Dave,
Thanks for sending over the document.
When I run Mastermatic on it I see that there are no actual Mastermatic settings in that document. All the fields and dropdowns are blank. If I try to attach an object style to a master page at random, everything seems to be working fine.
Could you send me a screenshot of the settings you’re using in Mastermatic?

An observation. Within the Object styles column, when I tick the box “apply master page until the next change”, then it returns the error 45 error
