ParticipantDeepL Translate doesn’t work, it just gives:
JavaScript Error!
Error Number: 21
Error String: undefined is not an object
Engine: main
File: /Applications/Adobe InDesign 2023 (Beta) /Scripts/Scripts Panel/ Samples/JavaScript/DeepLTranslate3.1.4.jsxbin

KeymasterHi Veikkok,
We’ve come across something similar recently.
The solution in that case was “to turn off one drive desktop syncing.” That solved everything.
Can you try that temporarily and see if it solves your issue? If you could post back here to confirm (or not) it would be very helpful.
Thanks,
Ariel

ParticipantHi Ariel!
Just tried it and it doesn’t make any difference. Google Translate works well but DeepL doesn’t even start.
Ariel
KeymasterHmm, when you say “doesn’t even start,” do you mean that you don’t see the initial DeepL Translate window at all?
veikkok
ParticipantJup, it just gives the JavaScript Error dialogue.

KeymasterTo see what’s going on we’ll need to do a screenshare and some debugging on your machine. Happy to do so if you have the time.

ParticipantOK if you could that would be excellent! How we should proceed?

ParticipantOk it was the firewall thing – connected via mobile phone and everything works like a charm. Thank you for your time!
Ariel
KeymasterGreat, glad you got it working, and thanks for your time and patience helping troubleshoot.
Hopefully in the next version there will be a more friendly error message at least!
