Hi I love the updated Dropwords III script. I would like to know if there is any way to skip the first word, meaning I should be able to apply a character style to the first word and then the script should apply the DW style only to the 2nd word, or is there another possible way to do this?
In your case, I would just not use the character-style feature that comes with Dropword III.
So switch that off, and then just apply the character styles appropriately, however you’d do it normally in InDesign. You could use nested styles, or GREP styles, or just a regular find/change to apply the styles as needed.
Once the correct char styles are applied, at that point run Dropword.
Would that work?
